Michael Roy, Master Guide

Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia offers hunters, sport fishermen, wilderness enthusiasts, rockhounds, and nature photographers a world of adventure.  To fully appreciate the wilderness experience, you need the services of a Master Guide such as Michael Roy.

Mike operates a rustic camp amongst the tall pines of Queens County - just two hours from Halifax International Airport.  From this base of operations, he will guide you safely on your exploration of the Nova Scotia wilds; share his wealth of knowledge of the natural world; and provide you with plenty of good food and a place to sleep.  Whatever your interests, he will strive to make your visit an adventure to remember.  Phone, write or email for information on available time periods and rates.

Hunting

Nova Scotia offers hunters three species of big game - white tailed deer, black bear, and moose (not available in Queens County).  Small game hunters can pursue waterfowl (ducks and geese), ring-necked pheasant (male), ruffed grouse, woodcock, snipe and rabbit (snow-shoe hare).  The season dates and bag limits are subject to change from year to year.  Check the Nova Scotia Natural Resources web site for the current regulations.
